For more information, or to verify what it would cost to arrange for a piano teacher to travel to your home, book an exploratory session for free, call/text us, or email us.
Do you offer lessons for all skill levels?
Yes, we offer lessons to students of all ages and all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Our only requirement is that the student already knows how to read.
What kind of piano do you use for the lessons?
We use a Yamaha piano for in-person lessons specially equipped for teaching lessons.
Are there any age requirements for taking lessons?
There is no strict age requirement, but we do require that the student already knows how to read. Additionally, it’s worth noting that children under 5 years of age may have difficulty with the physical aspect of playing the piano (primarily when it comes to hand strength), and 30-minute lessons may “test” their attention span. We recommend general music classes for younger students.
What is the in-studio lesson format like?
Each lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs and abilities and interests, but typically includes a combination of theory, technique, and repertoire. When you book an exploratory session for free, we’ll help determine your skill level and develop a lesson plan that will keep the student excited and engaged all while challenging and growing the student as a musician.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons are typically thirty (30) minutes in length but can be adjusted based on the student’s needs and schedule.
