What is the cost of intermediate piano lessons in Colorado Springs?
In short, it depends on the lesson format and length you prefer. Piano Lab COS currently offers lessons in-studio, online, or in-home. In-studio, 30-min lessons are $35/lesson/week. Online, 30-min lessons are $30/lesson/week. In-home, 30-min lessons are $35/lesson/week with a travel block paid for both before and after the lesson. 1 travel block of 30 minutes or less travel time will cost $35 per block. 1 travel block of 30 minutes or more travel time will cost $70 per block. $35 travel block + $35 30-min lesson + $35 travel block = $105 per lesson. All lessons can be extended to 60-min lessons depending upon availability.

Do you offer lessons for all skill levels?
Yes, we offer lessons to students of all ages and all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Our only requirement is that the student already knows how to read.
What kind of piano do you use for the lessons?
Can you provide lessons for children as well as adults?
Yes, we offer piano lessons for kids, adults, and seniors of all skill level.
Are there any age requirements for taking lessons?
There is no strict age requirement, but children under 5 years of age may have difficulty with the physical aspect of playing the piano. We do require that the student already knows how to read.
What is the lesson format like?
Each lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs and abilities and interests, but typically includes a combination of theory, technique, and repertoire. When you book an exploratory session for free, we’ll help determine your skill level and develop a lesson plan that will keep the student excited and engaged all while challenging and growing the student as a musician.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons are typically thirty (30) minutes in length but can be adjusted based on the student’s needs and schedule.

Attend Your Free Exploratory Session
Log in to the platform at the scheduled time and join your session through video conferencing or call in on your phone. Get to know your teacher, ask any questions you may have, and then we will help determine your skill level and create a lesson plan that will excite, engage, challenge, and grow you as a musician.

Choose Your Lesson Format & Reoccuring Lesson Slot
Book a time slot with your selected teacher through the platform’s scheduling system. If you’re unsure of how to complete this step, your instructor can also get you on the schedule for your desired day/time/format. A payment method will be stored and charged automatically each month.

Attend Your First Lesson
Arrive in-person, join your lesson through video conferencing, or await our arrival at your home. Your teacher will guide you through the lesson and provide feedback on your performance.

You can schedule regular lessons with your teacher and continue to improve your piano skills over time.
